Senior Urdu journalist MA Raheem, who worked with leading dailies including The Siasat Daily, Munsif, Rashtriya Sahara, and Etemaad, passed away in Hyderabad on Tuesday after a brief illness. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered on Wednesday at Jama Masjid, AC Guards.

Hyderabad: Senior Urdu journalist MA Raheem passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness.
During his lifetime, he worked with The Siasat Daily, Munsif, Rashtriya Sahara and Etemaad, and other Urdu newspapers in the city. The Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered on Wednesday, January 07, 2026, after Zuhr prayers at 1:15 pm, at Jama Masjid, AC Guards, beside Mahaveer Hospital. The burial will take place at AC Guards graveyard near KGN xerox shop.
Raheem was known for his long-standing contribution to journalism and was regarded as one of the senior-most voices in the field. His passing marks a significant loss to the journalistic community.
