Suryapet: District Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy on Monday asked members of Rythu Bandhu Samithis and officials of the agriculture department to create awareness among farmers on best-farming methods of different crops utilising Rythu Vedikas.

Releasing the calendar-2022 of Rythu Bandhu Samithi in his camber at the Collectorate, Vinay Krishna Reddy said the State government accorded top priority to agriculture in its agenda. Investment support schemes Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema have been effectively implemented in the district. He reminded that the Rythu Vedikas were also constructed in the district to create a common platform to the farmers to meet and discuss and share their knowledge on the cultivation methods.

He asked Rythu Bandhu samithi members and agriculture officers to be available to the farmers and extend required assistance and suggestions to them. He also underlined the need to educate the farmers about the best cultivation methods to achieve a high yield of the crop.
