Karimnagar: A separate clinic for the transgender persons was opened in the district headquarters hospital. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Maitri Trans Clinic and Paramedical Nursing College through virtual mode from Rangareddy district on Monday.

Participating in the programme here, Collector Pamela Satpathy informed that in order to provide treatment to transgender persons free of cost, the trans clinic was opened. She asked the transgender persons to utilize the facility.
