Separate jail barrack for former BRS MLA Patnam Narender Reddy
Narender Reddy, who was arrested by the police in connection with the Lagacharla incident, has made a request to the Court seeking direction for allotment of a separate barrack separating from other inmates in the jail.
Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has ordered that Patnam Narender Reddy, former BRS MLA be provided with a special barrack in Cherlapally jail. Narender Reddy, who was arrested by the police in connection with the Lagacharla incident, has made a request to the Court seeking direction for allotment of a separate barrack separating from other inmates in the jail.
The court which heard his petition directed the Cherlapally Jail Superintendent to ensure this arrangement. The High Court has permitted Reddy to receive home-cooked meals while in jail. The bench, led by Justice Sridevi, is set to hear the quash petition shortly.
