Separate prajavani for disabled in Karimnagar: Collector Pamela
Presently, prajavani is being conducted on every Monday for all the people. All sections of the people will submit their problems to the notice of officials. Hereafter, the district administration will conduct a separate prajavani for disabled from 1 pm to 2 pm.
Karimnagar: Collector Pamela Satpathy informed to conduct a separate prajavani, a public grievance redressal programme, for physically challenged persons on Monday.
Presently, prajavani is being conducted on every Monday for all the people. All sections of the people will submit their problems to the notice of officials. Hereafter, the district administration will conduct a separate prajavani for disabled from 1 pm to 2 pm.
The Collector participated in district level disabled committee meeting held at collectorate conference hall here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, she instructed officials to arrange ramps in all government and private offices for the convenience of disabled persons and take initiative to complete the registration process of vehicles given to physically challenged persons by the government.
She informed to write a letter to TGSRTC officials for allocation of separate seats to disabled in buses. Besides encouraging disabled self-help groups, efforts would also be made to provide employment by providing required training through private institutions.
Asking the people to book slat through online for Sadaram medical camp, she informed to provide appreciation certificates to disabled persons, who provided services in different fields, through the district welfare office.
