Set up control rooms in Collectorate, RDO offices: Siddipet Collector

Siddipet: The district collector P Venkatrami Reddy has instructed the officials of the district administration to set up a control room at Collectorate and Revenue Divisional Offices to attend to people’s calls. Assessing the situation after rains lashed Siddipet district on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Collector said that the IMD is forecast heavy rains in the State for next three days.

As a culvert swept away near Anna Sagar village of Mulug Mandal due to rains last night, the Collector has inspected the place to examine the situation. Speaking on the occasion, Reddy has directed the officials to take all the necessary care to avoid any human or property loss due to rains during the next few days.


He has instructed the engineering department officials to visit all the low-lying areas and causeways to examine the situation. The Collector has suggested them to shift the people who were residing in low-lying areas if the situation demands. Reddy has said that the engineering department officials must take all the responsibilities. He has also called upon the people to take all the due care whenever they comes out since all the streams and water bodies were overflowing like never before.
