Seven booked for circulating video of woman in Asifabad
The case was registered for allegedly assaulting a woman, her husband and breaching her privacy by circulating her video on social media platforms
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Five persons including a woman were booked, while a person was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman, her husband and breaching her privacy by circulating her video on social media platforms, in Kagaznagar on Tuesday.
Inspector T Shankaraiah, in a statement, said that a case was registered against Purshottam, Naikapu Shiva Kumar Goud, Naveen Goud, Bharath and Avinash from Adarshnagar in the town for assaulting Rema Yadav and her husband Santosh, following a brawl over her personal video shot by Purshottam. Shiva Kumar was sent to judicial remand.
Meanwhile, Shailaja and Thuduru Eshwar were booked for circulating the woman’s video.
