A farm labourer, Reddy Ramachandaram (26) of Polampalli of Thimmapur mandal, Gollapalli Jagan Goud (38) of Jagtial town, Kummarikunta Rajaiah (67) of Narsimhulapalli of Dharmaram mandal and a jeep driver, Ollala Venkateshwarlu of Jammikunta were died of sunstroke on Friday. An autorickshaw driver from Hanumajipet of Vemulawada mandal, Shankaraiah (46), lost his life on April 17. Udige Ilamma (59) died on April 21. A native of Gollapalli of Shankarapatnam mandal, Ilamma used to work as a farm labourer.

Patha Bhumaiah (55) of Vallampatla of Illanthakunta Mandal, breathed his last on April 22. Bhumaiah used to purchase tamarind seeds by touring villages. He was affected by sunstroke while touring in rural areas. Though the medical and health department officials are issuing cautions asking the people not to venture out between 12 noon to 4 pm, some of the people, especially labourers, are least bothered about the cautions.
