A native of Gollapalli of Shankarapatnam mandal, Ilamma used to work as a farm labourer.

Patha Bhumaiah (55) of Vallampatla of Illanthakunta Mandal, breathed his last on April 22. Bhumaiah used to purchase tamarind seeds by touring villages.
