Warangal: Warangal Commissionerate’s Task Force team raided five pan shops and two kirana shops in AJ Mill’s Colony and Matwada here on Wednesday and seized banned tobacco products from their possession. The seized property along with accused persons were handed over to the concerned police for further action.
The seized Gutkha was estimated to cost Rs 24,780. The arrested persons are Vangari Arun of Pochammaidan, Ravva Prasad of Pinnavari Street, Kaluram of Pinnavari Street, Ameershetti Srinivas of Vanchanagiri village, Lingam Narasimha of Ellanda village, Madar of Gavicherla village and Janagam Sharadha of Shambunipet in Warangal.
