Warangal: Seven persons were injured when a State-run RTC bus rammed into a tractor at Katryal area of Wardhanapet mandal of the district on Wednesday. The impact of the accident was such that the tractor broke into three pieces.
According to reports, the sand-laden tractor was crossing the road when a speeding RTC bus crashed into it. Drivers of both the vehicles were seriously injured and five bus passengers too suffered injuries. All the injured were shifted to a nearby government hospital for treatment. There were 30 passengers on board the bus at the time of the accident.
A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
