Hyderabad: Seven players—Sharika Tunki, Abhijeet Gupta, Abhinandana, Advik Sahasya, Surya Vaibhav, Sri Samanvith, and M Adithya—are in joint lead with three points each from three rounds in the juniors category of the 234th Brilliant Trophy chess tournament at Brilliant Grammar High School (Dilsukhnagar) here on Saturday.

In the Open category, four players—Shreyan Thipparthi, Sai Anshitha, P. Arunkumar, and Dinesh Reddy—are in the lead with three points each from three rounds, while D. Sai Pavan is in second spot with 2.5 points from 3 rounds.
