Bengaluru: Several cricket enthusiasts were reportedly injured, and a few fell unconscious near the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday when they gathered to attend a special felicitation event celebrating Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s maiden IPL title win.

A large number of fans had turned up for the event, which was organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association. Visuals from the scene showed police personnel shifting the injured and unconscious individuals to a nearby hospital.
