Hyderabad: The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) on Thursday demanded that Osmania University (OU) immediately release the pending PhD category-II results.

Expressing concern over the delay, SFI OU Council president Kalakoti Uday Kumar and secretary Dandu Ajay Kumar said this uncertainty has left students in deep anxiety.

“The prolonged delay has disrupted students’ future studies, research plans, and personal goals. Many students and their families are under immense stress, and those from economically weaker sections risk losing access to fellowships due to this delay,” they said.

Students who submitted a representation on the issue to OU Registrar Prof G Naresh said they received a positive response. Among those who submitted the memorandum were SFI OU vice president Kiran Kumar, Ramatenki Srinu, Manoj, and others.
