Shankaracharya’s Vijaya Yatra in Telangana from Thursday
Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati, Shankaracharya of Sringeri, will visit Telangana from October 16. His itinerary includes Basar, Vemulawada, and Hyderabad, where he will attend spiritual gatherings and perform consecrations. The state government has made arrangements to receive him as state guest.

Hyderabad: The Shankaracharya of Sringeri, Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati, will be camping in Telangana from October 16. He enters the State on the evening of October 16 at Shamshabad and the next day, he will stop at Kompally and reach Basar by the evening, where he will stay until October 19.
Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati will then depart from Basar and head to Vemulawada and the camp will return to Hyderabad on October 20 and continue until November 4. He is expected to attend large spiritual gatherings and perform many consecrations in the twin cities. The camp in Hyderabad is scheduled at Shankar Math, Nallakunta, from October 21 to 28, and at Sainikpuri Shankar Math from November 1 to 3.
The state government is making all necessary arrangements and has also issued a notice to welcome the Shankaracharya as the state guest.
