‘Shaque’, led by Parineeti Chopra, to release on Netflix on September 24

New Delhi: “Shaque: Trust No One”, featuring actor Parineeti Chopra, is set to release on Netflix on September 24.
The project is directed by Rensil D’Silva and is produced by Alchemy Films. It is created by D’Silva and Siddharth P Malhotra and also serves as the series debut for the actor.
Chopra shared the news with a post on her Instagram handle on Monday, which featured the poster of the series with the release date over it.
“Shaque ki sui chal padi hai, tareekh nazdeek aa rahi hai. Watch ‘Shaque’, out 24 Sept, only on Netflix,” read the caption.
“Shaque’ is a thriller built on uncertainty. What excited me was the opportunity to tell a suspenseful story through the deeply emotional journey of a mother who has spent nine years refusing to give up. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with Netflix on this bold, deeply emotional and layered story,” D’Silva said in a statement.
“Shaque” also features Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Sumeet Vyas and revolves around a mother’s nine-year search for her missing child.
Chopra last featured in Imtiaz Ali’s “Amar Singh Chamkila”, which released in 2024 and also starred Diljit Dosanjh alongside the actor. She essayed the role of Amarjot Kaur in the film.
