Sharanya, Tanishq emerge champions at Brilliant Trophy Open Chess Tournament in Hyderabad
Tanishq from Srinidhi Global School clinched the title with a perfect score of six points from six rounds, while Vrishank Meduri secured second place with 5.5 points, and R. Manotej finished third with five points.
Hyderabad: Gade Sharanya and Tanishq Ekula won the open and the junior category titles respectively in the 227th Brilliant Trophy open chess tournament at Brilliant Grammar School here on Sunday.
Tanishq of Srinidhi Global School won the event scoring six points from six rounds, while Vrishank Meduri got second place with 5.5 points and R.Manotej third with five points from six rounds.
In the Open category, Sharanya won the event by scoring six points out of six rounds, while D.Anji and Manojreddy Maram got second and third places with five points each from six rounds.
