Khammam: District TRS leaders have advised YSR Telangana Party leader, YS Sharmila, not to instigate unemployed youth for her political gains.
ZP Chairman Lingala Kamalraj, Sathupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, SUDA Chairman Bachu Vijay Kumar and the TRS district party office in-charge Gundala Krishna, addressing the media here on Wednesday, condemned Sharmila’s comments made against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and IT Minister K T Rama Rao during her deeksha at Penuballi in the district on Tuesday.
Sharmila should fight with those who caused her political unemployment but not in Telangana and the political gains which she had hoped for would not happen in the State, the TRS leaders suggested.
‘How can the YSRTP leader, who feigned ignorance of not knowing who Rama Rao is, know about the TRS government’s administration and appointments made by the government?” Veeraiah questioned.
After the TRS came to power in Telangana, as many as 1.50 lakh jobs were provided to unemployed youth. The same was explained during the Graduates’ MLC elections, the voters accepted the facts and voted for the TRS candidates, he explained.
Kamalraj sought to know whether the governments at the Centre had given jobs to all the educated people after the Indian Independence and how many jobs did Sharmila’s father, YS Rajashekhar Reddy provided when he was the Chief Minister in erstwhile AP.
The TRS leaders felt that the YSRTP leader was staging political deekshas without knowing the ground reality and the reason behind the recent suicide of a youth in Penuballi mandal. The Chief Minister took several measures encouraging self-employment and industries in the State, they said.
