Sharp Shooters record narrow win in Basketball Championship

Trailing 13-19 at the breather, Sharp Shooters won 43-42 while Rising Stars cruised home to victory at 35-31.

Sharp Shooters record narrow win in Basketball Championship

Hyderabad: Sharp Shooters and Rising Stars Hyderabad recorded narrow wins in the Annual League Basketball Championship of the Hyderabad District Basketball Association against Titans and Elite Basketball Academy.

Trailing 13-19 at the breather, Sharp Shooters won 43-42 while Rising Stars cruised home to victory at 35-31.


Manideep Yadav turned out an inspired display in the 2nd half basketting from fast breaks and so\hots from the perimeter and finding an able ally in Keshav outscored Titans 30-23 in the 2nd half to emerge winners. For the loser Harikrishna and Koushik played well

In another match Rising Stars upped their game in the 3rd quarter with Komal, Nikhil and Varshith scoring while Krish Ram waged a lone battle for the loser.

Earlier the teams observed homage to Syed Ali Pasha Quadri, President of CCOB Basketball Club in the presence of Dr Ansar Ahmed Khan, General Secretary CCOB and S Hanumanth Rao, secretary CCOB basketball Club.

Results: Sharp Shooters 43(Manideep 20, Keshav 12) bt Titans 42 (Harikrishna 13, Koushik 6); Rising Stars Hyderabad 35 (Komal 10, Nikhil 10, Varshith 7) bt Elite BB Academy 31 (Krish Ram 21)
