Shastripuram resident killed in hit-and-run accident on Aramghar Road

A Shastripuram resident, Mohd Fazal, was killed after a speeding DCM vehicle rammed his motorcycle near the Simplex U-turn on Aramghar Road early Sunday. A case has been registered by the RGI Airport police, and an investigation is ongoing

Hyderabad: A man died in a road accident at Aramghar Road in the city on Saturday night.

According to the police, the victim, Mohd Fazal, a resident of Shastripuram, had gone to Shamshabad along with his friend on a motorcycle for some work. He was returning home when, around 3:30 a.m., at the Simplex U-Turn point, a DCM vehicle coming from behind rammed into their motorcycle.

“Fazal and his friend Qader fell on the road, and an unknown vehicle ran over Fazal, resulting in his death,” said RGI Airport Sub-Inspector N. Sridhar.

A case has been registered.
