Shaswat gets Grandmaster title

Hyderabad: Indian martial artist Hanshi Shaswat Kumar was awarded the title of Grandmaster by the Martial Arts Association – International (MAA-I). The recognition was formally conferred by Grandmaster Bernd Höhle of Germany, who currently serves as the Chairman of MAA-I.
The Martial Arts Association – International was established in 1964 and is one of the longest-standing global martial arts organizations, with branches in over 120 countries. The title was presented in acknowledgment of Hanshi Shaswat Kumar’s contributions to martial arts and his dedication to the development and promotion of the Senkoukai Karate style.
This recognition places Hanshi Shaswat Kumar among the few martial artists from India to receive such an international distinction.
