Hyderabad: A delegation of Bhartiya Janata Party leaders on Thursday met Additional DGP Jitender and requested him not to shift the Chandrayangutta police station. The delegation led by G Prabhu explained that the police station was established during the Nizam era, and over the years was retained as it is located in a communal sensitive area. A new building of Chandrayangutta police station was recently constructed at Bandlaguda and is to be inaugurated.
