However, Ajinkya Rahane kept himself busy practicing in the room. He took to his official Instagram handle to share a video of himself doing batting practice in the hotel room captioning, “Off day from the nets means I find other ways to keep batting. Can’t stay away from my bat for too long. Sorry neighbours.”
However, Shikhar Dhawan countered Rahene, replying, “Bhai maan gaye ek din pahle practice match khela tha. Usme tune 50 mare, yeh prac se kya fayda?? Beti ko khila room pe bhai,” he wrote. Both Rahane and Dhawan play for Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League where their team ended runners-up.
