Shivani and Jyoti to receive award from President on December 26
Two para-athletes trained by the Aditya Mehta Foundation—Shivani from Andhra Pradesh and Jyoti from Haryana—have been selected for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, recognising their achievements and perseverance in national-level para-sports.

Hyderabad: Shivani from Andhra Pradesh and Jyoti from Haryana, para-athletes and trainees of the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF), have been selected for the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, one of the highest civilian honours for children in India.
Shivani competes in para-sports Javelin Throw and Shot Put, while Jyoti excels in Discus Throw, Shot Put, and Javelin Throw. “Their selection is a testament to their unwavering dedication, resilience, and consistent hard work over the past four years, reflecting excellence both on and off the field,” Aditya Mehta Foundation official informed. “Their complete training journey from grassroots level was supported through Aditya Mehta Foundation.”
The awards will be presented by the President of India in New Delhi on December 26, marking a significant national recognition of their achievements and perseverance in para-sports.
