Shivarajkumar’s 124th flick with Mehreen gets launched

Starring Kannada star Shivarajkumar and Mehreen Pirzada in the lead, the upcoming romantic flick was formally launched with a pooja ceremony on Tuesday. Puneeth Rajkumar along with Sudeep Kichcha attended the event as special guests.

Star Sudeep gave the clap for the muhurat shot while Shivrajkumar’s wife Geeta switched on the camera. The movie which is titled ‘Nee Siguvaregu’ in Kannada, will be released simultaneously in Telugu.

The movie marks the landmark 124th project in Shivarajkumar’s career. The makers also unveiled the title and first-look poster of the film on the occasion. The movie also features actors Sampath Raj, Sadhu Kokila, senior actor Nassar and Telugu character artiste and singer Mangli.

Shivarajkumar, who is fondly known by his fans all across south India as Shivanna, has gone through a complete makeover for the film. Debutante Ram Dhulipudi is helming the project which is touted to be an emotional romantic drama. Balasreeram Studios is bankrolling the project on a massive scale.

Actor Shivanna will be donning two different looks in the film. One as an Army officer and the other as a youngster. The film also has a love track between Mehreen Pirzada and Shivanna. The film also marks Mehreen’s debut in Kannada film industry. Ravi Santhehaiklu and Deepu S Kumar are the art director and film editor respectively. The film is being jointly produced by Narala Srinivas Reddy, Swathi Vanapalli, and Srikanth Dhulipudi, and will have Kudupudi Vijaykumar spearheading the project.
