Khammam: Former MP Nama Nageswara Rao has called on BRS ranks to work together to make BRS candidates win in the upcoming local body elections.

A meeting of key leaders and activists of Khammam Assembly constituency of BRS was held at the residence of former minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar in Hyderabad on Tuesday. BRS working president KT Rama Rao, former minister G Jagadishwar Reddy and others attended the meeting.


Speaking on the occasion, Nageswara Rao urged BRS cadres to work hard to elect a large number of candidates of the party in the upcoming mandal and zilla parishad elections in the district and give it as a gift to BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao.

The leaders and activists from village level to district level should respond to public issues and expose the government’s failures to the people. The cadres should show their strength in the elections, the ex-MP stated.

The leaders discussed the latest political developments in the constituency. The party leaders B Madan Lal, K Nagabhushanam, Gundala Krishna, B Vijay Kumar, Bommera Ramamurthy, K Krishna, Pagadala Nagaraju and others were present.
