Shresta Reddy clinches women’s singles crown at state-ranking table tennis tournament
Shresta Reddy of the Gujarati Seva Mandal Table Tennis Academy won the women’s singles title at the State-ranking table tennis tournament in Hyderabad. Her academy delivered a stellar overall performance, securing a sweeping haul of silver and bronze medals
Hyderabad: Shresta Reddy of Gujarati Seva Mandal Table Tennis Academy won the women’s singles title in the State-ranking table tennis tournament at Little Flower High School in Hyderabad.
She also won a bronze in the girls under-19 category.
For the record, GSMTTA put up an impressive show with Gayatri winning three bronze in the under-15, 17 and 19 years girls categories, Aparna a silver in the girls under-13 section, Shoubik a silver in the boys under-11 category, Tarun a silver in the boys under-19 section and Kiara a bronze in the girls under-11 category.
GSMTTA coach M. Venugopal congratulated the paddlers on their impressive performance and hoped this would be just the beginning of many more better performances.
“We are grateful to the entire support staff at the GSMTTA,” he said.
