Shruti Haasan enjoys Mumbai monsoon with a piping hot bowl o’ soup
The cool showers of the monsoon seem to have Shruti Haasan in their thrall. If her latest Instagram update is anything to go by, the actor could be seen enjoying the Mumbai monsoon and the weather. Shruti expresses her love for the rains with a short video where she captures the rain, besides a bowlful of piping hot broth nourished with seafood. “Something grey something warm – the monsoon has my heart,” she captioned the video.

Shruti’s Instagram stories show her fans that she is having fun – watching movies, playing games, and also enjoys weather with grilled toast and captions the clip as “Weather toast is here.” In another clip, she asks her followers, “Do you ever have days where you need chips more than anything else in the world?” while munching on potato chips non-stop.
On the work front, Shruti is working for the Tamil film ‘Laabam’ starring Vijay Sethupathi, which is directed by SP Jananathan and is expected to hit the screens on August 14, and the Prabhas-starrer ‘Salaar’, a bilingual action film directed by Prashanth Neel, which will be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
