‘Shyam Singha Roy’ to shoot major sequences in the city
The film set worth Rs 6.5 crore was erected in Hyderabad for the Nani starrer's final schedule

Even as Covid-19 cases are surging up, film shootings are underway at a brisk pace following strict guidelines. Nani starrer Shyam Singa Roy is one among those ambitious projects in Telugu that filmgoers are eagerly looking for. As of now, only the first look poster of the Natural Star was released. However, the film is carrying enormous buzz each time when Nani sends out an update to his fans through his social media account. The team has opted for vigorous promotions much before they began the project.
Art director Avinash Kolla has constructed a massive film set to get the milieu and the feel of the famed city Kolkata. The set worth Rs 6.5 crore was erected in a 10-acre land in Hyderabad. Currently, the makers are canning important scenes for the film. Nani is also taking part in the final shooting schedule.
Marking the first collaboration of actor Nani and director Rahul Sankrityan, Shyam Singha Roy, according to the makers, is no less than a magnum opus. Given the film is made with a unique concept and for portraying Nani in a never-seen-before getup, the movie has been banking on the script which is touted to be a historical drama.
Three beautiful ladies Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, and Madonna Sebastian are playing the female leads and the movie is being produced by Venkat Boyanapalli with several top-notch technicians working on it with dedication. Shyam Singha Roy is a very special film for all the actors and technicians associated with it. Jisshu Sengupta, Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, and Abhinav Gomatam among others who play important roles in the film.
Production No 1 of Niharika Entertainment has an original story by Satyadev Janga. Melody songs specialist Mickey J Meyer is on board to compose soundtracks, while Sanu John Varghese cranks the camera. Naveen Nooli is the editor.
