SI attacks barber for calling him ‘Anna’ in Karimnagar
A Sub-Inspector in Karimnagar allegedly attacked a barber for calling him ‘Anna’ instead of “sir”. The incident, captured on CCTV in a salon, went viral on social media, drawing attention to the officer’s behaviour.
Karimnagar: In a bizarre incident, a Sub-Inspector reportedly attacked a barber in a hair cutting salon for calling him ‘Anna’ (brother). This incident took place in Khanpura area of Karimnagar town.
It is learnt that SI Chander, working with Three Town police station, recently went to a hair cutting salon for shaving. A worker in the shop, Ramu, asked the SI to sit in the chair to start his work. Instead of “sir”, Ramu called him ‘Anna’.
Enraged over the worker’s attitude, the SI reportedly abused Ramu with filthy language and attacked him. The act of the SI was recorded on a CCTV camera fixed in the salon. The video went viral on local social media on Saturday.
