Hyderabad: South Indian Cultural Association (SICA), the leading cultural association in the twin cities, has conducted 175th Tyagaraja Aradhana at the studios of Hope Advertising Pvt. Ltd.
The event was led by young musicians of twin cities, including Sriram JS on vocal, Mahavadi Vasu Sastry on violin, K Krishna Sravan on mrudangam and TPBS Balasubramanian on ghatam, along with students of ‘Sampradaya’.
Music commentator Mahidhara Seeta Rama Sarma narrated the concept and meaning of the ‘Tyagaraja Pancharatna Kruthi’. The event went on with the rendition of ‘Pancharatna Kruthis’ by the artistes. The programme was conducted by Rajasekhar, Secretary, Dr KV Ramana, Jt Secretary, and Sudhindra Kumar, treasurer of SICA.
