Siddipet: 2007 batch constables raise Rs 4 lakh for late colleague’s family

The batchmates, with support from some police officers, raised Rs. 4 lakh and deposited the amount into two separate bank accounts opened in the names of his children.

Siddipet: Constables of the 2007 batch came to the support of the bereaved family of their batchmate constable Pusala Venkatesham, who died in a road accident on December 8.

The batchmates mobilised Rs.4 lakh with the support of some police officers and deposited the cash by opening two separate bank accounts in his children’s names.


They handed over the documents to Venkatesham’s wife and children at their home on Wednesday. The family members thanked them for their support.
