Siddipet: The Endowments department has decided to make a gold crown to Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple Komuravelly with 6.5 kg gold by spending Rs 4 crore. Finance Minister T Harish Rao and Endowments Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy have released the design of crown in the presence of Endowments officials in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Finance Minister has said that the Telangana government has been providing all the infrastructure facilities at the temples in Telangana after the State was created in 2014. Saying that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was insisting on the importance of conserving the ancient temples besides providing facilities on the premises of all the pilgrim places, Rao said that the making of the Crown for Komuravelly Mallikarjuna Swamy will be completed within two months. Deputy Commissioner Warangal Zone Umakanth Rao, Temple Executive Officer Balaji and others were present.
