Siddipet: Boy drowns in lake while flying kite, body retrieved four days after death

After talking to his friends, the police found that Teja drowned in the lake while flying a kite on Monday.

Siddipet: An eleven-year-old boy, who went missing on December 23, was found dead in a lake at Lecturers Colony in Siddipet. The boy Allepu Teja Kumar (11), studying 5th class in a local school, left his home last Monday after school hours. Since he failed to return home by night, his mother Padma lodged a complaint at the one-town police station in Siddipet on Wednesday. After talking to his friends, the police found that Teja drowned in the lake while flying a kite on Monday. The body was retrieved from the water on Thursday, leaving the entire family in shock.
