Siddipet: Class VII girl leaps off hostel building, condition critical
A 12-year-old Class VII student from Bhumpally village sustained critical injuries after jumping from the third floor of her hostel building in Mirudoddi, Siddipet, in an apparent suicide attempt.

Siddipet: A class VII girl student sustained life-threatening injuries after she leaped off the third floor of her hostel building, in an apparent bid to die by suicide in Mirudoddi village here on Tuesday morning.
The girl, stated to be a resident of Bhumpally village, was rushed to Hyderabad for better treatment. Her condition is stated to be critical.
Police said she went to the third floor of the BC Residential School building to have a bath on Tuesday morning. However, she jumped off the floor in a bid to end her life, leaving the inmates shocked. The 12-year-old girl has sustained serious injuries.
She was rushed to the government hospital in Siddipet after providing first aid in a local hospital. Later, she was rushed to Hyderabad for better treatment. The incident left the inmates, faculty and parents shocked. Her condition is said to be critical. A case was registered. An inquiry was on to know the reasons that drove the girl to jump off the building.
