Siddipet: Rythu Bandhu celebrations were organised in a grand way at Marpagada in Siddipet district on Wednesday.

The elected representatives performed Palabhishekam to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Finance Minister T Harish Rao’s portraits at Rythu Vedika at Marpagada. The artistes of Telangana Samskruthika Sarathi, educated the local farmers on how the Telangana government has spent Rs 50,000 crore on Rythu Bandhu scheme since its inception.

The artistes also visited the agricultural field in the neighbourhood to celebrate the occasion with the farmers at their fields. Meanwhile, the women in the villages celebrated the milestone of Rythu Bandhu scheme with different Rangoli paintings in front of their houses in the district. Similar kind of celebrations were organised across the erstwhile Medak district.
