Siddipet Foundation distributes Ramzan kits to poor Muslims

Siddipet: Siddipet Foundation has been reaching out to poor Muslims during Ramzan across the State, particularly in Siddipet, by distributing essential kits to support needy families.
Founder of Siddipet Foundation Sadat Nazeer, who established Shell Infotech IT Company, said the organisation had distributed more than 4,000 kits, each worth Rs 900, across the State during Ramzan this year. Volunteers of Siddipet Foundation prepared the kits containing groceries and new clothes and distributed them in Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, Cheriyal, Gajwel, Gambiraopet and Karimnagar, besides at 10 different locations in Hyderabad.
Speaking to Telangana Today, Nazeer said he had been giving Zakat in accordance with what was taught to him in the Quran since childhood. Stating that he had volunteers across the State, he said they carried out the service every year during Ramzan. Former Minister T Harish Rao, who distributed Siddipet Foundation’s kits to poor Muslims in the town on Sunday, praised the services of Sadat Nazeer. Rao said Siddipet Foundation had been reaching out to the poor and needy through various initiatives.
