Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao has informed that free coaching would be made available for government job aspirants at the KCR free coaching centre. Addressing the aspirants after inaugurating free coaching for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in TRS Bhavan at Ponnala near Siddipet town on Saturday, the Finance Minister said that the faculty roped in by them were equally competent to the best coaching Centres in Hyderabad.

He said there was no to travel 100 kilometres to attend coaching classes in Hyderabad by spending huge amounts from their pockets. He said free meals would be offered at the coaching facility until the classes are completed. He said the free coaching was started way back in 2015 and 800 students had cleared TET after attending the free coaching offered in the past.

Stating that 224 got jobs as constables while eight persons got selected as sub inspectors out of 608 who attended the classes in 2018-19, Rao said 22 candidates got different group jobs while 66 persons got DSc. Asking them to stay away from social networking sites and other distractions until the competitive examinations are over, Rao has called upon the students to just concentrate on examinations until getting a job.

While the Government has already provided 1.33 lakh jobs since the State was created, the Minister has said that now the process for inducting another 91,000 personnel into different departments was on. He further said that over 600 personnel enrolled for TET examinations free coaching was being offered to them.
