Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao, who participated in Sri Rama Navami Utsavams at the newly built Pattabhi Rama Temple in Chintamadaka village in Siddipet Rural Mandal, has said that the village is undergoing a total transformation with the development works undertaken by the government.
Addressing the villagers after presenting silk clothes to the presiding deities on the eve of Sri Rama Navami at the Temple on Sunday, the Minister said that the construction of a new colony on the outskirts and reconstruction of the existing village will change the face of the Chintamadaka forever. Saying that they have built the Pattabhi Rama Temple, Rao, who laid a foundation for the reconstruction of Lord Shiva Temple with an outlay of Rs 3 crore at the village on Sunday, said that a spiritual atmosphere will envelop Chintamadaka.
Suggesting the villagers ensure performing the daily pujas at the Pattabhi Rama Temple, Rao has also appreciated them for carrying out Prathistapanotsavams in a grand way. Since Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had taken up Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme, the Minister said that the tanks and canals around Chintamadaka, the native place of the Chief Minister, were brimming with the Godavari water even during the mid-summer. Later, the Minister participated in Lord Rama Kalyana Utsavams at different temples in Siddipet town.
