Siddipet hospital ordered to refund excess amount collected from Covid patient

Additional Collector Muzammil Khan instructed the management of the hospital to pay back the excess amount collected to the patients immediately

Siddipet: Additional Collector Muzammil Khan, who inspected a private hospital offering Covid-19 health services in Siddipet town, has found that the hospital collected more fees than stipulated by the State government.

He has instructed the management of the hospital to pay back the amount to the patients immediately. Khan has warned them of strict action if they delay the payment or commit the crime again.

The Additional Collector has examined the services being offered by the Siddi Vinayaka Hospital. After going through the hospital records, Khan spoke to the discharged patients to know how much they have paid. When he visited the hospital, Dr Ganesh, the owner of the hospital, was not present. He forced the Additional Collector to wait for 10 minutes. After going through the records and talking to the discharged patients, Khan instructed them to pay the amount back.
