Siddipet: Man, son attacked over extra marital affair in Cheriyal

A man and his son were injured after unidentified persons allegedly attacked them with sharp weapons at their residence in Cheriyal, Siddipet, on Tuesday night. The father suffered serious injuries and was shifted to Siddipet for treatment.

Siddipet: Some unidentified miscreants attacked a man and his son accusing the latter of having an affair with another woman in Cheriyal on Tuesday night. Carrying sharp weapons, a group of people stormed to victims residence and atattacked Bodasu Ravi (45) and his son Saikiran indiscriminately.

They accused Ravi of ignoring Saikiran’s relationship with a woman even though they took up the issue with him multiple times. Ravi sustained serious injuries while Saikiran escaped with minor injuries.

They were rushed to the government hospital in Cheriyal and later to Siddipet for better treatment. Ravi’s condition is said to be critical. The incident created tension in Cheriyal. The police registered a case and the probe was on.
