Siddipet officials create ‘Spoorthi Vanam’ at KCR Nagar

Siddipet: To encourage people to plant saplings on their birthdays, the officials of Siddipet have created “Spoorthi Vanam” at KCR Nagar, where the government built 2,500 double bedroom houses for the poor, near Narsapur in Siddipet town.

Finance Minister T Harish Rao will plant a sapling at the Spoorthi Vanam on Thursday to mark Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s birthday. The officials said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had put efforts to improve the green coverage in Telangana by launching Telangana Ku Haritha Haram. They said that the planting of saplings was going to be the best way to celebrate the birthday. From now onwards, the citizens of KCR Nagar will be encouraged to plant saplings at the Spoorthi Vanam.
