Siddipet: Habituated to breaking the transformers and removing the copper for gain, a seasoned thief broke 48 transformers across Siddipet, Janagaon, Medak, Yadadri-Bhongir and Warangal districts in less then a year. The Siddipet police nabbed the man while he was moving suspiciously at Vallampatla in Maddur mandal.

The accused Nandulal alias Madhulal Rajbhar, a migrant worker from Uttar Pradesh who migrated to Hyderabad some two decades ago, had gone to jail in a similar case in 2025 after Bhongir police nabbed him.
