Siddipet: On the occasion of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s birthday on Thursday, TRS leaders from Markook mandal donated Rs, 50,000 cash and one quintal rice to a young widow and her children from Vattipally village of Jagadevpur mandal. As part of the ‘Gift a Smile’ campaign launched by TRS Working President KT Rama Rao, the TRS leaders from Markook mandal extended support to the family after they came to know that Kummari Rathnamma, who lost her husband recently, has been struggling to lead a decent life.
Rathnamma thanked the TRS leaders and the Chief Minister. Markook mandal TRS president Morusu Karunakar Reddy, TRS leaders Annapurna Srinivas, Indrasena Reddy, Kavitha, Kiran Goud, Pandari Ravindar, Devi Ravindar, Balaraj, Santosh Reddy, Chandramohan Reddy and others were present.
