Sighting of tiger triggers panic among motorists in Asifabad
The motorists using Kagaznagar-Sirpur (T)-Koutala stretch stated that the tiger was seen moving in the paddy fields abutting the mill and requested forest officials to take steps to prevent attacks on the motorists by the tiger.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Motorists claimed that they sighted a tiger at a rice mill between Peddabanda village and Sirpur (T) town on Tuesday.
The motorists using Kagaznagar-Sirpur (T)-Koutala stretch stated that the tiger was seen moving in the paddy fields abutting the mill and requested forest officials to take steps to prevent attacks on the motorists by the tiger.
The Forest officials said that patrolling was stepped up at the mill. They urged motorists to be cautious of wild animals. CCTV camera traps would be installed to record images of the tiger, they said.
