Hyderabad: The 326th Khalsa Panth Foundation Day (Vaisakhi) was celebrated by the members of Sikh community from Telangana with gaiety and devotion at Gurudwara Saheb Ameerpet on Sunday.
Organised by Prabhandak Committee Gurudwara Saheb, Ameerpet, the Khalsa Panth Foundation Day featured recitation of Gurubani Keertans, delivering of sermons by Ragi Jathas, carrying Sri Guru Granth Sahibji on a palanquin, a huge colourful Nagar Keertan, breathtaking display of Gatka skills and organising Guru ka Langar, a press release said.
Thousands of Sikh devotees and other community faiths participated in the Vishaal Deewan, which continued till the evening. A special Vaisakhi Raen Keertan Darbar (Night congregation) will be held between 9 pm and 1.30 am on Monday at Guru Gobind Singh Sports Stadium Ameerpet.
