Hyderabad: Siliconops.ai today announced the launch of siliconcloud.in, a sovereign cloud platform built for India’s regulated enterprises. Built in partnership with Nutanix and delivered and governed from data centres in India, siliconcloud.in is designed for organisations across banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, government and manufacturing, where data residency, regulatory compliance and business continuity are critical requirements.
The platform provides enterprise-grade compute, backup and disaster recovery, and managed cloud services, with a roadmap towards relevant compliance and industry certifications. It is designed to help organisations modernise their IT environments while keeping sensitive data within India and under Indian jurisdiction.
Shyam Gaidhane – CEO, Siliconops said, “In the age of AI, data has become one of an enterprise’s most valuable assets. Launching India’s sovereign cloud around the country’s 80th Independence Day is a symbolic reminder that sovereignty matters to enterprises just as it does to nations.”
