Sindhis from Twin Cities to celebrate 556th birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Devji

Hyderabad: The Sindhi community in Hyderabad is set to celebrate the 556th birthday celebrations on November 5, organised by the Sree Sindhi Guru Sangat Sabha Association at King Koti Heera Hall, Hyderabad.
According to Narendar Chandnani, President, Govind Bacchani, Secretary, Asok Vaswani Advisory Committee member, Vijay Shahani, Treasurer, of the Association, the celebrations will begin in the morning hours, followed by the Sampthi of Akhand Path Saheb at 12 noon. This will be followed by Keertan and Guru Ka Langar prasad from 1 pm onwards. More than 5000 Sindhis from the Twin Cities will congregate and participate in the grand celebrations.
The Sree Sindhi Guru Sanghat Sabha Association started the celebrations a few days back with Prabhat Pheris. The Association has been organising the Sree Guru Nanak Devji Birthday celebrations annually for several decades. Prakash Bolaki and the Committee members appealed people of the twin cities, irrespective of caste and creed, to join the celebrations in a big way.
