Hyderabad: The Singapore Telugu Samajam has invited BRS working president and MLA KT Rama Rao as the chief guest for its golden jubilee celebrations to be held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, on August 31.

Rama Rao accepted the invitation and is scheduled to participate in the event, which aims to strengthen unity among Telugus living in Singapore.

In a formal letter to Rama Rao, Samajam president Bommareddy Srinivas Reddy said the BRS leader, as a representative of Telangana’s cultural and political heritage, would serve as an inspiration to the community.

The Singapore Telugu Samajam has been dedicated to preserving the Telugu language, culture and traditions.
