Singareni Collieries synchronizes 15 MW solar power plant

The SCCL has so far synchronized 124 MW solar power with the Transco out of 300 MW solar power.

Hyderabad: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has synchronized 15 MW solar power with the Transco on Thursday.

This is the first solar power plant that was completed under the phase II of 90 MW solar power plants. The SCCL has so far synchronized 124 MW solar power with the Transco out of 300 MW solar power, Singareni Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar said.

He said that 30 each MW of solar power at Mannuguru and Ramagundam, 39 MW in Yellandu and 10 MW at Singareni thermal power plant were synchronized with the Transco apart from 15 MW of solar power.

Sridhar said works pertaining to the phase II solar power plants would be completed by May end and phase III by October end.
