Jagtial: Placards displayed by Singareni workers at the BRS Praja Ashirvada Sabha held in Jagtial on Monday attracted the attention of the participants in a big way. To highlight the problems of Singareni workers, members of Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) from Godavarikhani in Peddapalli district displayed placards at the meeting.
The write-ups on the placards started with “KCR Bapu” and tried to explain the indifferent attitude of the state government towards Singareni workers. The Congress government has completely failed in conducting the Singareni medical board, providing dependent jobs and resolving the issue of wrong names. Moreover, the government was doing injustice to workers by denying them a share in profits.
Besides allegedly looting the company’s funds, the government was trying to mislead the workers by stating that Singareni was in losses. On the other hand, poor people have been troubled by the demolition of their houses in the name of HYDRA. The placards stated that people of Telangana and Singareni workers were determined to make Chandrashekhar Rao the Chief Minister again. They also said that the BRS had lost only power but not the faith of the public.
